The Face Behind It All...

My name is Rhianna, I'm 18 years old, and I am the creator and sole owner of The Social Bubble.

We won't dwell too much on my story, but it was important that those potentially looking to work with me and become part of this journey could put a face and a name to the business.

Being a teenager in the working world is far from easy - I am a Musical Theatre student and also a teaching assistant at a local performing arts school, so my schedule can get somewhat crazy! However, I decided to create a business for myself that allowed me to follow my creative passions, whilst also giving me the space to breathe around my university schedule. I am so incredibly passionate about the creative arts, from the stage to the screen and all in between, therefore 'The Social Bubble' was the perfect idea to get me into the workplace doing something that I enjoyed, and through this enjoyment, giving my clients the best quality of work.

Why Did I Set Up The Social Bubble?

The answer is simple...

I wanted to create a workspace that was not only flexible and creative, but was also rewarding for both the client and myself. I love helping other people achieve their full potential, and owning a self-run business that allows personal and professional growth for my clients was something that I kept at the forefront of my mind when creating the ethos of my branding. It is the main reason why I do what I do in every aspect of my life, not just the working world, and something I hope to carry forward with me as this journey progresses.

I also believe that owning my own business will give me independence and life skills in so many areas that will help me during and beyond university. It allows me to speak to new people, advertise myself to the best of my ability, manage my own finances, schedule appropriately to comply with my clients and personal life, and so much more. As well as promoting my services, I also want to encourage those my own age to adopt these skills for themselves and follow their passions.

This didn't just come from nowhere...

It is important to understand what sets me aside from other young entrepreneurs such as myself, and it all comes down to experience. I want to make sure that my clients can trust in my ability and feel confident that their businesses are going to be represented online in the best manner possible, whilst maintaining the best level of communication.

In terms of experience around social media management and understanding the technology and software that I am working with, I have currently just graduated from completing the BTEC course in Creative and Digital Media, coming out at a high distinction grade. This combination of theory and hands-on coursework has given me the opportunity to understand how the world of digital media and editing works, and has given me enough theoretical knowledge to understand audience perception.

I have also managed my sister's social media accounts for a couple of months, promoting her as a junior golfer in the UK, and have grown her account from getting 400 views a month to over 3,000 in the initial weeks of me gaining access to her profile. Additionally, my mother owns a travel business, and I have been the sole manager of her social presence since the beginning, creating her online profile and visual branding to appeal to audience expectations and give her a unique selling point for promotion.

Not only is all of this clear evidence that I am fully capable of doing what I advertise my company for, but also shows that I am passionate about what I do and thoroughly enjoy it. I want the best for my clients and I hope that they enjoy working alongside me as I do for them!
